Each section of the Cortori FastFix border edging has a length of 100 cm, with an effective length of 95 cm due to the overlapping joints. Thanks to the QuickLock system, the separate sections can be quickly and securely connected for a seamless, tidy finish. The sturdy ground pins at the bottom ensure easy installation without the need for tools.

Installation tips

Installation tips for steel border edging:

Draw a straight line: stretch a cord with two stakes to determine the exact placement of the border edging. Use this as a guide during installation. Regularly check along the edge to ensure it remains straight or nicely curved, so the end result looks neat.
Place the ground pins vertically: always insert the pins as vertically as possible into the ground for maximum stability and a straight finish.
Use a hammer with a wooden block: carefully drive the edging further into the ground using a flat hammer and a wooden block to prevent damage or bending of the steel.
Forming corners: to neatly bend the edging into a corner or curve, you can use a wooden block or a template.
For heavy soil types (e.g., clay): first make a narrow trench so the edging can sink into the ground more easily.

Note:

Upon delivery, the border edgings will not yet be fully rusted – this is normal. The rusting process starts once the edgings are placed outdoors and exposed to the elements (rain, wind, sun, dew, etc.). Through oxidation, the border edgings acquire their characteristic warm rust color.
